Maria is a psychometrist at Borovay Psychology working under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Borovay. She enjoys getting to work and connect with a variety of individuals going through the assessment process. She finds it both encouraging and rewarding to see how an assessment outcome can foster and expand people’s relationships with learning, school, and themselves.

Growing up, Maria attended many different types of educational environments, including home-school, public, and private schools, and even studied abroad! This experience helped her to appreciate many different types of educational environments and how they can impact the learning experience. Maria earned a Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Carleton University. She then went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University. Since then, Maria has worked in both the fields of Psychometry and Psychotherapy and has experience working with children, youth, and adults. She holds registration as a psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and as a psychometrist with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
