
LAURA MACREADY, BSW, MSW, RSW
Social Worker
Laura Macready is a registered clinical social worker with twenty years of practice experience in Ottawa and its surrounding communities. Laura has provided services in organizations, communities, schools, hospitals and clinics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Carleton University and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo. Laura has worked at the Queensway Carleton hospital, Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth, the Ottawa Valley Family health team, the Youth Services Bureau and the Ottawa Civic hospital in outpatient oncology.

As a clinical social worker, Laura provides assessment and counseling support to youth and adults. Laura’s sessions combine the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and solution focused therapy to meet the needs of each client.
